This is a family favorite. They are eaten quickly! The original recipe is made with brown sugar and I have tweaked it so it’s SCD Legal. These are great!
Boiled bag of whole green beans
SCD Legal bacon
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup honey
garlic salt (I add approximately 1/2 teaspoon.)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook and drain green beans. Cut bacon slices in half. Wrap bundle of green beans (approximately 6-7 green beans) in bacon and hold with toothpick. Line bundles in 9×13 dish. Mix other ingredients together and pour over top of bundles. Cook at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
