I have always loved the yogurt covered raisins. This recipe resembles the look of the yogurt covered raisins! They look delicious and like a great snack for the kids!
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup of coconut butter
2 1/2 tablespoons coconut oil
1 tablespoon honey
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1. Heat the coconut oil, coconut butter, honey and vanilla in a sauce pan over low heat.
2. Stir the combination of ingredients up evenly. Once the mixture is completely melted, take the sauce pan off the heat and pour it over the raisins. Mix until the raisins are all completely covered and allow them to sit for 5-10 minutes to ensure the raisins soak up the mixture.
3. After the raisins are done soaking, lay them out over some parchment paper and place in refrigerator until they are hardened. This usually takes about one hour. Afterwards, separate the coconut raisins and eat!
4. Store in airtight container in the refrigerator.
