Salty Honey Butter Almond Brittle (http://organichabit.com/2014/04/25/salty-honey-butter-almond-brittle/)
1 cup raw almonds; toasted in oven then chopped
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup honey
1/8 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon salt
Place the 1 cup raw almonds in the oven until tawny brown. Then chop up.
Heat the butter, honey, and vanilla in a small skillet and bring to a boil over 300 degrees for 2 minutes. Add the almonds. Remove from heat and mix in the salt. Taste and adjust to your liking.
Pour out on parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Enjoy on it’s own or use as a topping on homemade vanilla yogurt ice cream.
