Almond Flour Waffles

Hello, again! Did you read my earlier post today about going back to school? I’ve had an email and a phone call today asking about my waffles. I promise if you try them your children will like them! I think they taste almost like the real thing! Not SCD! Justin will dip them in honey and butter melted together and sometimes I boil it with some blueberries and make a blueberry syrup.
Just a quick reminder if you are searching for things here on the blog you can type something into the “Search” option on the left column. Below is the link to my Almond Flour Waffle recipe in an earlier post along with a picture of the “cheap” Walmart waffle maker I use for my waffles. I spray it one time before I make the first waffle with my Misto Olive Oil. I do not spray it every time. The light goes off when it’s heated and ready. After I put in the batter I wait about 10-15 seconds after it starts smoking and take them out.
I always triple the batch and freeze them, or whatever Justin doesn’t eat right off the griddle. He takes it out and microwaves and toasts it and eats them for snack or breakfast. They don’t last long. This goes VERY fast and the recipe is EASY!!! Let us know how you like them!!!

This recipe is out of the “Cooking for the Specific Carbohydrate Diet” by Erica Kerwien. I highly recommend buying this recipe book. Has some great recipes!
